Artichokes

I so enjoy artichokes!! I like to place them stem-side down in a big pot (after cutting the stems flush with the bottom), add a can of chicken broth plus enough water to rise half way up the 'choke. Cook about an hour for the most tender of leaves! For the sauce I simply use Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing..."BLT" flavor. Talk about GOOD!!!

Cherry Chicken Salad

Spicy Squash Casserole

Excellent!!! Used winter Banana Squash and sliced and browned Italian sausage, a can of diced green chilis, "Mexican seasoning" and extra cheese (of course!~~) and was wonderful! Also, I put just a little bit of shredded cheddar on top of the cracker crumbs for added "eye appeal". Will share recipe as well as make for church potlucks. Thank you!!

While this did indeed smell WONDERFUL as it cooked, we found it to be terribly bland. I'd added a lot of pine nuts to give it some texture and sprinkled it with ground nutmeg before serving. It would be worthwhile making again if the cook added more spices to it
