Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Very good recipe that allows the room to experiment with your favorite fruits in addition to the fruits called for. I added banana and after chopping the banana and apples added the juice from one lemon before preparing the rest of the fruit. The leftovers were awesome blended with ice for a smoothie. My 1-year old loved the chips and I will likely make them without the salsa often.

I used a piping bag to get the filling into the liners quickly and easily. Very good recipe with professional results. Thanks!

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
This was a really good recipe, which I followed exactly, except I added about 1/2 c. cheese instead of the 3 TB called for. I will definitely make this again.

Grilled Garlic Artichokes

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I really enjoyed this. Made as per recipe (halved) and it was delicious. I didn't have any leftover oil mix for dipping, but the flavor of the artichoke and garlic was good on it's own.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
Made this as per recipe, made one loaf and twelve muffins. The loaf stuck to the bottom of the pan despite being well-greased. The muffins came out perfect though and when I make this recipe again, I will make all muffins. Very good flavor, everyone really loved the muffins.

Bacon Baked Beans

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
I bought a jumbo size can of pork and beans instead of two smaller ones, and followed the rest of the recipe, except I ran out of ketchup so I used half ketchup half bbq sauce. Brought these to a family gathering and everyone raved about these beans, I would definitely make them again.

Pineapple Cheesecake Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
I only made the filling, put it into a ready made graham cracker crust and topped it with some drained crushed pineapple mixed with a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar...loved it! A very nice, creamy pineapple dessert.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
These cookies are very moist and cakelike, perfectly spiced. I would definitely make them again, although I would make half the amount of icing since the recipe makes a lot. When I made the icing I used orange juice instead of milk and I would do that again next time, possibly using orange extract instead of vanilla.

Cream Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2004
My seven year old daughter made this all by herself and won a blue ribbon at the Monterey County Fair for her age group. I must admit a 7 year old weilding a pastry bag was a little messy but these cupcakes were delish. They don't even need icing, we just piped a little dab of extra cream filling onto the top of each cupcake.

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2007
I made this again last night and just realized I've been doing it wrong, but in a good way. I only use 1 stick of butter, which is 1/2 cup vs. the one whole cup called for. And I just add the whole pint of cream. I also added some leftover Easter ham and a pinch of red pepper flakes. I just love this recipe it's so rich and versatile. Last time I added chicken and broccoli. Next time I think I will try it with crumbled bacon.

Caramel Corn IV

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2010
sorry but have to say it - the most popular reviewer is probably scaring people off. this was easy, and i used only one saucepan. poured the bag of microwave popcorn onto a pam sprayed parchment paper lined cookie sheet, poured the caramel mixture over the top, added some sliced almonds and sea salt, baked 25 min at 275 and stirred every 5 minutes. it's awesome. my dad just said its the best he's ever had. will def make again!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
I don't really like changing the recipe and then rating it, but I think this recipe allows room for changes. I had a 29 oz. can of pumpkin pie filling so I used that and doubled the recipe without doubling the amount of sugar (1 cup white/2 cups brown) and using 1 cup oil, 1 cup cinnamon applesauce. Also didn't have cloves or ginger. Very good, moist, flavorful bread. Made three regular loaves and three small loaves in those aluminum tins. Thanks for the recipe! **I made this again and acutally followed the recipe - I liked it better the first time around with my alterations**

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
This was sooo good. I put a frozen slab of four breasts into the crock pot with 1/4 c of butter and sprinkled the dressing mix over all. Cooked on low 5 hours, added soup and cream cheese, cokked on high 30 minutes. Cut the chicken with a SPOON and mixed it up with the sauce, served it over rice. I just loved the flavor. The flavor reminded me of a recipe my grandma used to make called chicken ala king. Will definitely make again.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
Very good frosting that still has the tang of cream cheese to balance out the sweetness of whatever you're frosting. I found the amount to be perfect to frost a two layer 9" round cake.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

I used regular cream cheese, followed recipe and it turned out really good. It was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to ice a three tier cake with. I really loved the flavor of it and will definitely make this again. Thanks!
