My favorite things to cook

Practically everything. I love cooking with fresh ingredients as much as I possibly can. I'd have to say Mexican and Italian dishes are my favorites.

My favorite family cooking traditions

My father is from New Mexico. Therefore there is always an abundance of green chile in our freezer. I wish I could have red chile more often but he does not bring it home. I love making traditional New Mexican dishes.

Pico de Tuna

I only used a half a can of albacore tuna. Also, I added a clove of fresh garlic, an entire lime and did not take out the seeds in the jalapeno. I began with half of a lime but it was too dry therefore I decided to put the rest in. I might put a little lime zest in next time and possibly some avocado.
