Delicious and chewy oatmeal raisin cookies. I did turn the oven down to 350 and cooked for about 12 minutes after the first batch came out a bit more crispy around the edges than I like. Oh, I also soaked the raisins just because I never had before and that was yummy. Other than those two things I followed the recipe exactly and didn't have any problems. It is a dense chewy cookie, which, in my opinion, is just how an oatmeal raisin cookie should be. Two days later and the cookies are still chewy, not hard at all. Thanks for this recipe, it's perfect.
