My cooking triumphs
My chicken casserole. I stopped a friend when he was going back for his fourth serving. My son will eat the whole thing if I let him. Greatest compliment was from him: anything I cook is great.
My cooking tragedies
Biscuits. Hard as a rock. Being used to yeast bread, I kneaded it way too much.

Bread Machine Swedish Coffee Bread
If you like cardamom, try to find cardamom seeds and grind your own. So much more flavor than the pre ground. Try Asian food stores if your grocer doesn't have them. Thanks for the recipe for the bread machine.

Dana's Famous Swedish Meatballs
My grandmother was from Sweden. She used allspice and nutmeg, white bread crumbs soaked in 1 cup milk and just a little onion. If the meatballs grew larger than 3/4", you had to do them over! When the last meatballs were browning in the pan, she sprinkled a tablespoon of flour over them. Then added 3/4 cup of cream to simmer the meatballs. Made a nice gravy.

Tartar Sauce I
Great recipe, but fantastic with capers. Have to have capers. Add 1 tablespoon of capers.
