I've been looking for a recipe like this! I did my research and scrolled down through the comments and reviews. I baked these today for the first time, and took the multiple advice of increasing the flour (I used 1 3/4 cups) and baking soda (to 1 tsp), and decreased the salt to 1/4 tsp. I also omitted the nuts, my son has a no-nut policy at his school. So now these are the perfect addition to his lunch box! Finally, I baked at 335 for 13 minutes, perfect. They came out of the oven looking undercooked, but I left them on the pans for 5-10 mins to cool, and they ended up soft, chewy and perfect. This is now my standard oatmeal cookie recipe!
