Polish Meat and Potatoes

Really liked this!! Did cut down on the amount of oil and the potatoes did stick a bit. Added a small amount of beer to deglaze the pan before I added the sausage, and it did the trick. I also, used a venison/pork sausage that I browned first, and red and green bell peppers for color. Will definitely be making this again. Good, hearty, easy on the purse meal.

Quinoa and Black Beans

I started looking into vegan meals when my brother was fighting his battle with cancer. He asked for better 'vegan' recipes. He lost his battle last month but I know he would have loved this recipe. Very healthy, very hearty and above all very tasty! Also, made the house smell sooooo goooood!

Mint Juleps

Just like I learned to make in Kentucky, silver goblet and all. I live in Texas now but love a Mint Julep on a hot day.
