Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
really easy to make, and it tastes perfectly, even it's my 1st time making cinnnamon roll. Instead of using muffin cup, I arrange the 12 pieces in a 8.5" square pan, it comes out like a bakery-buy cinnamon roll. Thanks for the recipe.

Jan's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
It's a moist & spongy cake, however the choco taste is not very strong. I will try to add choco chips or choco icing next time. And I think 1C water is too much, I just use 1/2C and the texture come out perfect. Thanks for the recipe.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2007
I'm very new to bread machine. This is the first bread I made and I made it twice. 1st time: follow exactly and find the bread a bit dry, but the flavor is very good. 2nd time: I keep my eye on the kneading process. Again I follow exactly the ingredients and processes it calls for, EXCEPT I keep up 1 tbsp oil. I slowly add that 1 tbsp oil and extra 2 tbsp water during the kneading process. This result in a softer and moister bread. Next time I will interchange the rosemary to Basil or Sage. Thanks for the recipe. 3rd time:I add an extra 1tsp olive oil, some poppy seed and ground pepper. It comes out great again!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
Perfect scone!!!! It's light, moist, soft and not too sweet. I don't have sour cream so I replace it with plain yogurt. I don't know if it's the yogurt which make the batter hard to roll out (quite sticky). Next time I will use sour cream. I make it with prune instead of raisin, yet it's still very yummy! Thanks for the recipe.

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
It's nice! I make it into Orange Muffin. The only thing I change is replace the 1-cup-milk into 1/2 Milk + 1/2 Orange Juice, with orange zest. New time I will use brown sugar to give it a nicer browning!! Thx for the recipe

Apricot Cream Cheese Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2005
I agree to use apricot preserves becoz if using like strawberry flavor which is too strong that over the cookies. I have made several times. Currently I give up any preserve, make it into Cheese Cookies. I reduce 1/4 cup of sugar. The sweetness is just fine to go with coffee...thanks for the recipe ^^

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
I have made this cheesecake thousand of times and it's always success! I follow exactly the recipe calls for; just for the last 5 mins of baking, I increase the temperature to 210C so that it will give the surface a nice browning!

Brown Sugar-Rum Pound Cakes

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
Such a nice cake. For the cake body, I follow all indicated but add raisin that soaked in rum for 1/2 hours, resulted in a foamy rum cake (rum flaovr is very strong that I like most). For the topping, water I reduced to 1tbsp & add 1tbsp dark rum more which give a more strong rum flavor. What I find important for the topping is, it reduces the sweetness of the cake body. Thanks for the recipe.

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2005
I make 1/2 serving of the cake by using a 7" round mould. I follow exactly the ingredient and direction which results in a nice cheesecake. I will increse the nut topping next time because it is so yummy! Just one thing, the apple flavor is not strong enough to make the cheesecake outstanding! Still I like the cake, thx!

Apple Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2005
Wonderful apple cake. I slightly modified the ingredient by increasing the diced apple to 2C with 1tbsp more of the sugar. I also added 2tsp more cinnamon 2tsp of nutmeg. I also increased the orange juice to 13C. Instead of walnut, I used almond (toasted coarsely grounded). All my family colleagues like the cake! Thanks for the recipe. I will make it again and again!

Rum Truffles

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2005
It is my first time make chocolate truffle. I use my own bitter chocolate cake to make the cake crumb. It is very simple to make and the result is very good. All of my friends find the chocolate very soft inside which rich in rum flavor. It melts in mouth. It's a very good recipe, thanks.
