Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2014
This is a great simple apple pie recipe! The only adjustments I made was add a little salt on the apples, cinnamon and raw sugar on the top of the lattice crust. I've used different types of fresh apples as well, however, pippin apples are the best for form and compliments the tart/sweet taste.

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
This recipe is a keeper! I served this last night at our couples Bible study & everyone enjoyed it! I baked it in a bundt cake pan, hoping it would cook well & be moist. I baked for an additional 15 minutes & didn't use the nuts. The next time I make this I'll adjust to a little less sugar & fill my bundt cake pan to only 3/4 full. It rose quite a bit. Make sure you use cooking spray or a non-stick pan so it comes out easily. I also made & drizzled a vanilla glaze on top & it looked delicious!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
Great recipe! Very easy to make! I used bluberries, raspberries and strawberries and it tasted fantastic! I would recommend cutting back on the white sugar only use 1-2 tbs, since the berries themselves have sugar. Or skip the white sugar all together and add chocolate chips! YUMMY!

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
Per my Mother's day breakfast request, my husband made this dish for me and it was delicious!!! You must serve/eat warm and out of the oven. He used day old buttermilk bread instead of the Italian bread suggested, the first time he made it and recently day old Italian bread, they were both yummy. He is going to try cherries next time instead of blueberries. It has now become a favorite dish for us! Enjoy!
