Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

This recipe turned out great! I used Jack Daniels Original BBQ sauce, and I added a bit more Italian Dressing and Worcheshire sauce just to suit my taste. It turned out wonderfully and everyone loved it! I will definitely make this again! Next time I might try to cut down on the brown sugar, just to see what it does. We ate this over white rice along with corn and potatoe salad and texas toast.

One Week – Six Dinners – Just $100

I think it is great that your offering this. Im sure it will be helpful to many that want to quickly plan their meals and have a quick grocery list for it on hand. I haven't tried the other meals but I will say that Newlyweds was a little harsh, don't judge a meal by just the picture...The Ham and Potato soup is truly AWESOME! Oh, and if you can get these items for less money by using store brand or coupons, then great! I really don't think all of these items would end up being $100 anyway.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe is fantastic and so simple!!! My husband and I tried making pot roast in the past but failed miserably. I found this recipe the other day and decided to try it because of its great ratings. I read some of the other reviews and decided to make some changes to the recipe as well. This recipe is a great starting off point! We did exactly as the recipe said with but we did make some changes to suit us.. The only things we did different from the recipe were.... using beefy onion soup mix (b/c they were out of the other kind ) and searing the roast (we used a rump roast). I floured the roast and seared it, while adding garlic powder, onion powder, dried rosemary, 2Tbs of butter, salt and pepper. My husband cut up red potatoes, carrots and red onion and seasoned them with other spices. We put the roast in the slow cooker, adding the vegetables, then covering it with the soup mix. Then we cooked it on low for 8 hours. I also added about 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce while it was cooking too. I know we will be making this a lot more often now! I cant believe how great it turned out! There will definitely not be any leftovers of this!! OH! And my very very picky 5 year old ate it!! If you knew my child, you would know that that is a huge accomplishment! She said it was great and she loved it! 5 stars!!!
