Lisa's Favorite Carne Asada Marinade
I made changes to this recipe and it turned out great. I omitted the orange, lime, chipotle, and paprika. Added a half cup of beer, 1 small onion, and a 1/2 tsp white sugar. Put everything in a blender, seasoned meat with salt and then poured mixture over meat. Marinated in refrigerator for 2 hours. Will marinade longer next time.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
This recipe was super easy and I had everything on hand, except for the frozen corn so I used canned corn instead. I couldn't believe how good this turned out. I used left over boneless chicken breasts from the night before and just diced them up. I served it in a bowl and topped it with some shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Yummy!

World's Best Lasagna
This really was the best lasagna! I made some modifications and omitted the basil, fennel seeds, italian seasoning, and fresh parsley because I didn't have them on hand. What I did instead was added a bunch of oregano... probably 3 TBSP of it! I mixed shredded (not sliced) mozzarella, ricota, parmesean cheeses together and added another 2 TBSP of oregano to the cheese mixture as well as some Lawrys garlic salt (about 1 tsp). I used flat uncooked lasagna noodles to save on time and then layered the noodles, cheese mixture, and meat sauce and then topped with mozzarela and parmesean. Cooked for 30 minutes with foil (spraying foil so cheese doesn't stick to it) and then removed the foil and baked for an additional 30 minutes. This lasagna was unbelievable!
