Saltine Toffee Cookies

These are soooooo awesome! They should be called disappearing saltine toffee cookies! We just love them!

Very good. Perfectly cooked in the hour, the loaves look great and it is really tasty, moist, not too sweet. I used almonds instead of walnuts and added some clove as someone had suggested. I will use this recipe again.

Rhubarb Bread I

This was good. It took longer to cook than 40, closer to 50, 55 minutes. Very tasty though, a nice use for Rhubarb. My preschoolers loved it.

Strawberry Shortcake

EZ and really good. The first time I made this was for a bridal shower, as the main dessert. It went within minutes-all to women who were "stuffed", there was not a drop left. I put it together at the shower, it looked lovely. I think you have to be careful of crumbling when you cut it. It reminded me of the Betty Crocker recipe from a long time ago. I loved it.

Glazed Ham

Very good. I cooked it for Easter, for a family of die-hard baked ham (the $60.00-specialty store kind) fans. It was a big hit, from waking up in the morning to the delicious smell (cooked over night). It fell off the bone. I will say I was nervous baking my own ham, but it was worth it. The ham was different than any store bought ham I had ever had. Thanks for a great, easy recipe. I will make it again, and I won't wait until next Easter.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Pumpkin Bars V

Really easy to make. These were really good, my husband and kids really liked them. Instead of chocolate chips, I used Craisins. I'd make them again, a good alternative for snack time. Thanks for the recipe.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Good and they certainly are big--People took one look at these cookies and got nervous...but, they are good for making ice cream sandwiches. Thank you, but I'll stick to my original recipe.

Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese II

Very easy, I have made this 3 times and my kids do not like it for some reason. I think it's ok, maybe a little bland. I used way more cheese than needed because my family loves cheese but it was still missing something...

Thanks for this recipe. I have improvised on it for months, it's easy and I never get any complaints no matter what the sauce/cheese combo is. The chicken is always perfectly cooked.

Fresh Berry Coffeecake

Very sweet-good for a brunch. I used all blackberries and toasted walnuts. Everyone liked it. Thanks for the recipe. It was a nice change from plain coffee cake.

Rhubarb Strawberry Cake

This is delicious! I did not have any oats so I used grape nut cereal and it was awesome. I also cooked it in an oval (12x8) pan and it came out great. I will make this again. Thank you for the recipe.

Strawberry Bread II

This is really good. I used fresh strawberries and mashed about 1/2 pint in with the butter, then I added a 1/4 c orange juice. I used another pint of fresh berries instead of the frozen. My kids loved it and I'll make it again.
