I have made this crust many times, but I always add 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. of onion powder, and 1/4 tsp. of pizza seasoning to my flour, so I don't know how it is without them, but I do know that every time I have made this crust, everyone has loved it. I have used all purpose flour, bread flour, and also whole wheat flour...all winners. I have made this crust also as deep dish pizza, and also makes a nice thin crust, in other words...very versatile. If this crust didn't turn out right, I'm sure you made a slight mistake, and that happens sometime, but try it again...carefully. Thanks Valentino for such lovely and quick crust. Oh yeah, I forgot...I have also used honey in place of the sugar when I used the whole wheat flour.
