Braided Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2015
I gave this 5 stars because of all the memories it conjured up about my childhood and my grandmother. This was excellent bread and I'm going to start a tradition my grandmother had with it. Instead of Easter baskets we all received our own loaf of bread. I did a test run to make sure this was good and the kids already ate it all. I did use my bread maker for the dough which made it so easy. And since I made individual loaves I cooked for shorter period of time.

Best Ever Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2015
This is a perfect meal. I think it does take time but my family loves it. Very versatile I use ground turkey or meatloaf mix even ground chicken. I mix it up with the crackers sometimes I use whatever leftover crackers I have other times I use bread crumbs. Most of all I hide lots of vegetables in there. I chop whatever I have on hand mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots. I stopped sauteing the onion and pepper before adding to meat it's just another dirty pan and more time. I know it probably changes the taste but it's my family's favorite meal so I guess it's good enough. Thanks for the recipe I never liked meatloaf growing up and now I enjoy it.

Bean Soup With Kale

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2014
My family ate it and fought over who was taking the leftovers for lunch. Didn't have tomatoes so used seasoned petite diced can tomatoes. Also cooked longer then the time specified to make sure the kale was tender. Also drained the beans don't like to use that juice in the can.

Healthier Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2014
I love fish but never cook it well. This recipe was quick and easy and most of all there were no leftovers. When my husband asked I said it was a five star recipe and he said I AGREE, keep it around.

Kielbasa with Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2014
My family did not care for this. I actually followed the recipe except using half -n- half rather than heavy cream. Served with roasted potatoes. I won't make this again.

Ruby Drive Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2014
Whenever I make a new recipe the family rates them as keepers or tosses. 4 out of 5 of them said good choice keep it. I did make a few small changes I added minced garlic and onion. Used ground turkey and omitted the hot sauce I'm not fond of spicy food. I also only used 1 cup of ketcup. It was a little watery but I just kept cooking till it thickened and I enjoyed it. Most of all it was EASY.

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2014
First time I tried this and the family said it was a keeper and my oldest took some home with him. I have to say I never use regular bouillon I use herbox sodium free granulated chicken bouillon so I didn't have any issue with saltiness nor do I use garlic salt I'll just add minced garlic and celery salt I just added Mrs. Dash instead. Will definitely make again because it was a quick yet tasteful recipe.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
It was a little bland and that was with adding a dash of garlic powder and thyme. Also added 3 slices of American Cheese to the milk mixture which I had a hard time thickening.

I thought they were okay but my kids loved them. Asked me to make them again and the second time they ate them all also. I used olive oil spray on the leaves then sprinkled garlic powder.
