Crunchy Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
This recipe is delicious! I had a similar recipe that I lost so I was delighted to find this. My original recipe called for cashews, so that's what I used. I served it with several ice cream toppings for my guests to top their own. It was a huge hit!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

This dip is fabulous and delicious! I served it with bread cubes and crackers and it was devoured. Some low-carb dieters even had it with vegetable spears and it was gone in a hurry!

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

Super easy to do and I like the fact that you can make this any time of year because the ingredients are canned or boxed. I used walnuts instead of pecans and it turned out delicious!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I made this with apples that I had just picked from my dad's apple tree. I brought it to work with some cool whip and one of my co-workers said it was the best apple crisp she has ever had! It looked, smelled and tasted delicious! Great recipe that I will make again and again this fall!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

I made these using honey instead of corn syrup and M&M's in place of chocolate chips. I also added chopped walnuts. This is a wonderful recipe and I will make again and again!

Egg Foo Yung II

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
I made this recipe using only bean sprouts, mushrooms, onion and shrimp as fillers with the egg, salt & pepper. The egg foo yung was firm and delicious and the sauce was also a huge success! Great flavor and perfect consistency. Everyone loved it and I will be making this again and try different fillers. Thanks!

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
I made this recipe in a bundt pan and added cinnamon to the dry ingredients and vanilla to the wet ingredients. About a teaspoon of each. I also topped it with a double recipe of the cream cheese frosting found in the Clone of a Cinnabon recipe on this website. I added a splash of orange/banana juice to the frosting to make it the consistency of a glaze. This cake is extremely moist and flavorful!

Lemon Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2005
I really liked the lemon flavor that came out in this cake, however, it was a bit dry and I would really like even more lemon flavor. I might try again with a little tweeking. It was a good cake over-all, and I realize that it is meant to be eaten with coffee, so that would take care of the dryness.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2005
These are delicious and look exactly like the pictures, however, as a matter of personal taste, I prefer my cookies "puffier" or thicker, therefore I would give this a 4 1/2 stars and I realize that these look and taste FABULOUS, but I will still look for a recipe that makes a puffier cookie.

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
Easy, fast and extremely great quality! I love the one bowl idea, and the bowl came clean after soaking for just a little while in hot water. My peanut brittle popped right off the cookie sheet and broke up easily. I will always make my peanut brittle this way.

Wonderful recipe! Great full flavor, just like you would buy at the espresso stand, but a lot cheaper if you make a large quantity and make your own at home!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
I made these muffins in an extra-large size muffin pan. They were delicious! I doubled the recipe and that made 8 muffins. I thought the batter was too thick, but they turned out perfect. I did have to cover the muffins with foil for the last part of baking, as with the huge size muffins, they took longer to bake and the outside was turning dark, while the middle still needed to cook.

Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
The lemon in the sauce was overpowering! The eggs benedict that I have ordered at restaurants has never been too lemony. The texture of the sauce was beautiful though, and the method of poaching the eggs worked perfectly, but I will definately be looking for a different sauce recipe.
