Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Needed to rate this. Made it as is. I suggest you do this and make changes, if you feel it necessary, according to your own personal preference. Absolutely need to blend the ingredients. It makes a BIG difference. The ingredients can blend together. I used my immersion blender - made the job simple. And yes - it looks off but it'll be ok. Once you grill it - you'll be left with a piece of meat that will look and taste beautiful. I made it once in the morning to serve it that evening, once the day before I served it and once I froze it in the marinade. They all pretty much tasted the same. So I would say whatever is convenient. Also, I didn't feel the need to season my steak at the table - which is a bonus for me. Thank you soooo much.

Fantastic! I too baked the crust. I baked it too long. I would suggest only 5 or 10 minutes. Instead of lemon I use vanilla....love it best that way.

This is amazing. No changes are needed. We don't eat steak without marinating anymore - it's just not the same. I'll agree with other's reviews - this marinade doesn't mask the steak flavour - it really makes the steak!

Curried Rice Pilaf

This was really really good. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I know some people get upset when others rate a recipe according to changes - but I believe the recipe is still a close resemblance to the original. I made it with minute rice. Taste great and only took about 10 minutes to cook once I browned the rice. I didn't have chicken broth so I diluted chicken soup base in water and I didn't have raisins but had intended on using them. After tasting the rice - i'm not sure raisins would have worked. This dish tasted a lot like rice a roni. I will be making it again. Haven't decided if I'll add the raisins though!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

This bread is very good. I (almost) made it as written. I had to separate it in 4 loafs instead of three (I guess my pans were a little smaller then the directions said). I cooked them for 20 minutes. I did not butter the tops after they were cooked. I also had it rise in my oven (turned off) with a dish of boiling water beneath the breads. It took only half an hour for each rising with this method. NEXT TIME: I will put cinnamon in the dough as well as in the sugar mixture. I wanted more cinnamon. I will cook it a little longer as well. The directions are simple and it wasn't very time consuming. I think with the changes, I'm gonna rate this a five stars!

This was good. I don't like the spice they suggest - so I used dill. I thought it worked. I thought the mayo was a little overpowering and I think I will use mostly sour cream next time. I also doubled the sauce. I will repeat that the next time too.

Cherry Cheesecake

OK here's how I rated. Quick and Easy: Five stars Appearance: Four star (I was able to have it stick together fairly well. I beat it a very long time to help it thicken and I added my can of fruit only after my filling had set and I refrigerated my can of fruit to have it thick.) Taste: Two stars. It didn't taste bad but it was way too rich. Everybody agreed that no one would ever go for a second piece and no one could finish their piece (not even kids). I WILL NOT MAKE IT AGAIN. I'd rather put in more work and have a delicious turn out. I was disappointed.

Greek Style Potatoes

I know people don't like it when people rate their changes. BUT recipes don't have to be followed to a T, and every good cook knows that... My changes. I used italian seasoning - not thyme and rosemary. I added more salt. I decreased the water to about 1/3 cup and added lemon juice to taste. They take about 1.5 hours to cook. If I could rate higher than a five start - I would. These are beautiful with the chicken gyros slouvaki recipe from this site as well. A meal fit for a king!

Chicken Souvlaki Gyro Style

10 STARS!!!!!!!! If I could rate it more, I would. Love the chicken. Love the tatziki. My favourite recipe from this site and I love many of them. I serve with greek potatoes (recipe from this site also) and it tastes like the restaurant. No more paying so much for something I can make at home. So good.
