Meet the Foster Puppies!! These are the 4 uber-cute boxer mix puppies that joined us on Monday, May 30th to be fostered for about 4 weeks. They were 6 weeks when we got them and were neutered yesterday and are now available for adoption! The group that we are fostering for is Rotts N Pups (so if you think these sweeties are too cute to pass up contact them, they transport dogs all over the U.S.)!

These little guys are sooo cute. They are total bundles of energy and we try to take them all out for lots of play breaks throughout the day, so they can run around the big yard, chew on each other, tackle each other and get some good exercise! The hopes is that they will wear themselves out throughout the day and then get good naps and sleep good at night! They've actually been doing really well most nights so far - we put them to "bed" in the big crate around 9:00-9:30 and then let them out around 6:00 usually for their first morning romp and potty break along with breakfast.

Rossi and Morgan are the two vocal ones of the group - they whine and yip the most when they want attention and feel they are being deprived (which is about any moment a human isn't paying them some form of direct attention!) Reed is the super cute little trouble maker! He looks the most "boxer like" of the group to me but LOVES to jump in and nip at someone then run away, or tackle them when they're not looking. He likes to hide in the tall grass under the play fort and ambush the others!! He will whine for attention, but of the puppies seems the most content to just play with other dogs and doesn't seem to "need" people as much though he's very sweet with kisses when you pick him up! Hotch is my favorite! :) He has the most mellow and people loving personality of the puppies, he will just lay in your arms and loves to be stroked and gives super gentle sweet puppy kisses. He's stolen my heart completely! :)

Here's Reed!

Here's Morgan (he has a very unique and beautiful dark brown coat)!

And here's what they do best!!

We can't wait to see them get to go to loving forever families when it's time - they are going to make WONDERFUL pets!!

They are very cute! Fostering is a wonderful thing giving so many pets more time to find loving homes!

Oh they are just too cute! Love their names too :)

Wow - they are just so adorable! I think what you're doing is commendable. Puppies are a lot of fun and a lot of work. It takes someone with a loving home and big heart to do what you're doing!

Such little cuties! Thank you so much for caring enough to foster little guys like these. I can't wait until I am able to move into a house where I have enough room to volunteer as a foster "mom" for a rescue!

You certainly have the heart to care for them. and they're so adorable!

We're big Criminal Minds fans so we thought their names were adorable! :D I am so thankful we can foster - we already have several rescue dogs of our own and would love to bring all the homeless dogs home with us, but since we can't do that we love to foster when we can! This was a GREAT time for us to be able to do it since my husband is home recovering from surgery for another month and our 12 year old is home on summer break! :)

How WONDERFUL!! Oh, my! The only BAD thing about fostering.... is I would never ever be able to let them go. Thank goodness for people such as yourself to do this! They are adorable. LOVE the Criminal Mind names! Oh, so cute. How could you ever get anything done with all that cute around all day?

AAAWWW Sandra they are so CUTE!! I just know they will find a good home soon. I have 3 dogs already and am barely getting Paco out of puppyhood. Thanks for sharing your pups with us.

I don't foster but I do volunteer at a no kill shelter. It just breaks my heart to see how people treat animals. I am glad there are "foster parents" like you to help create happy, healthy dogs!

These are just beautiful puppies. Obviously they are content and feel as though they are in a loving home and environment. The perfect beginning for every living thing. Thanks for doing this, you are one of the special ones for giving them a good start.

About Me
I love preparing meals for my family, I grew up eating home cooked dinners as a child, and felt that time around the table was very special. It gives me a LOT of pleasure to prepare something my family enjoys!
My favorite things to cook
I cook with a lot of chicken, we prefer boneless, skinless breasts. I don't think I have a preference for a certain style of food, or ethnicity. I cook mainly simple, meat and rice/pasta/potatoes kinds of meals. I enjoy trying different flavors and fixing new recipes. We enjoy italian, southern, mexican, etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
It's sort of a tradition in our house to have biscuits and gravy every weekend, usually Saturday morning. My husband grew up in the South, and it's comfort food! I love preparing a Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner: Roast turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, and cranberry jelly... MMMMM!!!!
My cooking triumphs
I think I was pretty thrilled with myself the first time I successfully made a home-made pizza crust. I am also very good with homemade breads, and very proud of my banana and lemon poppy seed breads!
My cooking tragedies
I have two classic cooking tragedies from when I had just started cooking (age 16) - the first time was when I tried to thicken gravy by adding flour directly into the HOT liquid - LOTS of clumps... it was SOO gross! The 2nd time was when I tried to make my first white sauce, and I just could NOT get the flour to milk ratio right, it was pasty and disgusting!!! I've learned a lot since then, but those are classic OOPS memories!
