Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2014
very nice and simple too. I used red onion and a mix of red and green cabbage, it came out excellent. I cut the sugar a bit little more then 3/4, I think next time I would cut it even more.

Lemon Asparagus Risotto

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
Very nice - very simple. Only change - ( For us, your milage may vary ) More garlic, more wine, hold off 1/2 the celery until about the last 4 minutes, so it still has a little crunch and holds it's own.

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2013
Very nice, loved the crispy crunch of the top that the Panko gave it. I added a little parmigiano reggiano that I microplaned over the top to give it a nice crunch. next time I might add a bit of bacon. Everything goes better with bacon.

Red Lentil Curry

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
Excellent in it's own right. I also do a standard Lentil soup ( Carrots, Potato's ) and use the spices defined here ( ok I dropped the paste and add 2 tbl of Curry powder.) and it rocks.

Irish Shepherds Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2012
This came out exceptional - I did tweak a little. More rosemary and Garlic in the potato's. I also braised some Lamb tips ( Trader Joe's ) with a little flour and tossed them in and cut back a little on the ground lamb. It gave you Lamb chucks every now and then. I must praise the potatoes with the Cream cheese and Cheddar Cheese, nice touch indeed gave it a real nice texture and they browned so nicely. Good Show !!
