Grandma Ople's Apple Pie
This is now my "go-to" apple pie. A family favorite and no need to make the traditional apple pie when I can make this recipe. I add cinnamon, a splash of lemon juice and a pinch of salt to the apples. Depending on the apples, I sprinkle some flour on the apples and mix well. No runny apple pies in our house! Sometimes I use half water and half apple cider. I also have use maple syrup. A great recipe to be creative!

Pumpkin Zucchini Bread/ Cake
I used 2 cups zucchini and one cup pumpkin, 1/2 TBS each vanilla and almond extract, pistachios and 1-3/4 cups sugar. I used a 9x13 pan and froze half for another time. Frosted the cake with my favorite cream cheese frosting and the cake became a new family favorite. if I didn't freeze half the cake we would have eaten the entire cake - it was that moist and yummy.

Coconut Custard Pie II
This recipe was a hit with my family and at the local library pie sale. Picture perfect topping. Wish I had taken photos. I followed the directions but had to cook longer and lowered the temp to 350 until the filling was cooked.
