Egg Drop Soup (Better than Restaurant Quality!)
I really liked this. Never made egg drop before. I listened to others and cut back the sesame oil and cornstarch and pepper by half. Threw in some peas. Delish!

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup
Excellent and EASY! I do not cook a lot, but managed to not mess this one up. I followed other suggestions and added another beef bouillon cube, and two tbspn of worsteshire. I also used red merlot in place of the sherry. I browned the onions a little, but did not slice them up real thin either. Will definitely save this and make again. Oh, and I left out the thyme.

Chocolate Mice
These were adorable in their final stage, and the kids loved them. They do taste like truffles. You really need to grind the cookies down until they are fine. What worked best for us was to roll a few out at a time, and put them on a plate/bowl filled with the cookie crumbs and roll them around to cover them. They are much easier to shape when they are covered in the crumbs. I made them all up and then we stuck the eyes, ears and tails on all of them at the end. We made them a little bigger than a hershey kiss, so we ended up with an cookie sheet full.
