Blackberry and Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2004
I used only blueberries, and it turned out great! Its amazing how easy it is, yet so yummy! It almost makes me feel guilty when everyone rants and raves about it, cuz I barely did anything! By the way, I use pillsbury dough pie crust, its really good.

Moist Persimmon Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
I've never made or even had a persimmon cookie before, so I have nothing to compare the taste to, fyi. I omitted the nuts because I didn't have any on hand. I thought that this had more of a 'pumpkin' bread texture, as moist as it was. I liked them, but they were definitely a different kind of cookie.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: May 6, 2008
OMG! This recipe is awesome! I do not add the heavy cream and I do add more curry. I've made it twice and doubled it the first time and fourx the second time I made it. And now I'm about to go make it again, as I'm craving it, lol. It's better the next day too!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
THESE WERE AWESOME!!! I USUALLY DON'T LIKE THIS KIND OF STUFF, AND I WAS MAKING IT FOR MY SON'S LUNCH BOX, INSTEAD OF A MORE EXPENSIVE GRANOLA BAR, ETC. AND TURNED OUT THAT I LOVED THEM! MY KIDS WEREN'T SO INTO THEM FOR SOME STRANGE REASON, BUT I WILL DEFINITELY BE MAKING THIS A LOT, DUE TO THE SIMPLICITY OF INGREDIENTS, YET SO ABOUNDING FLAVOR! I DID ADD 1/4 TSP OF CINNAMON, AND DOUBLED THE RECIPE AND BAKED SAME AMT OF TIME IN A 9X11 PAN.

Yummy Bok Choy Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
I didn't have baby bok choy, so I used an 'adult' bok choy. I also added canned mandarins and omitted the noodles (didn't have them). It was great!!! I liked the bok choy just by itself even! I think I might start using it instead of lettuce. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I made this for my visiting family and everyone loved it. I changed some things tho...I used left over turkey from Thanksgiving (turned out AWESOME), and used 3 cans celery/1 can chicken soup. I also added 2 cups carrots and 2 cups celery. Thanks for the quick and easy recipe.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I made this for '08 Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone loved it. Even my niece, who hasn't found a stuffing she liked yet, enjoyed it. It was agreed that it should be our yearly Thanksgiving dinner stuffing recipe.

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
Wow! These are so awesome! Very Sweet and definitely need a glass of milk! If they turn out gooey, it's because you didn't cook the caramel long enough. I kinda liked it gooey better, personally. If you want it to look like the picture, refrigerate 30-60 min. between layers. The second time I made it, I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 (?) dish. It turned out great!

I loved this recipe. It was very sweet, so you do have to like sweet stuff. We gobbled it up, tho, and wished we had more. Will make many times over.

I've made this several times, including for Thanksgiving, and everyone has loved it. It is sweet, but we like it that way and haven't changed a thing. We use it as the main course for dinner as well.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

I've made this twice and both times it was well loved by the adults. The kids were a bit picky about it. I used fried onions on top instead of crackers.

Excellent. I prepared as said. Also, made some in a separate dish without the tomato sauce for my picky daughter, and she loved it.

We were not too impressed w/ this recipe, I personally thought it was bland. But, we thought it was okay. I don't think I'll make it again, but it was edible.

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
This was the first cheesecake I've ever made. It was soooooo good! I had no idea cheesecake was so easy to make! The only thing different I did, was to put it into a 9x9 glassware, for lack of anything better to use. Thanks for a great recipe! We'll be using it again!

Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
I doubled the recipe and put into a 9x13 pan. I added 1/3 c. butter to the 2/3c. butter stated. It wasn't very crispy, so I think I added too much butter. It still was good, and we added ice cream, (a must!), so all n all we liked it.
