Hawaiian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
Using this recipe as a base I followed the advice of other reviewers and left out the pineapple juice. Added 1/4 barbecue sauce to the mixture and left out the butter and paprika. Cooked on the stove top. I wish I would have left out the broth too because it was still a bit runny so I cooked it a bit longer uncovered to evaporate some of the extra moisture. Served over rice. My version was quite simple and my husband and I loved it!

Homemade Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
This recipe is quick and easy to make. I'm dairy and soy free due to allergies so I've made this recipe 4 times so far for a quick snack to throw in my purse as I'm heading out the door. Easy to substitue any add-ins you like. I use cranberries, honey roasted peanuts, and walnuts. I've substitued honey for corn syrup as other reviews suggested and make a double batch then freeze the extras.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
easy and delicious! I used 93% lean beef and did not have any issues with greasy sauce. The meat balls were tender and flavorfull. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
Not a bad dish but I expected it to be better based on the overall rating. Kind of bland for my taste. I used 4 frozen breasts and let them cook about 6 1/2 hours then shredded them and added the cream of chicken soup and cream cheese. It was very thick and I ended up adding about a cup of milk to thin it out a little so it would spread over the egg noodles. I may have used too much chicken, they were large breasts.
