Gorgonzola-Garlic Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2008
Very Good. I made it how the recipe said to. It is a very concentrated flavor with a nice salty touch that would be excellent for turkey sandwiches, wraps, etc. Next time I will add some cucumbers and bacon pieces...maybe even some sour cream to help tone the flavor down.

Vegan Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
excellent and i love how accessible this recipe is for even a non-vegetarian such as myself. All ingredients I have and I love that it saved me from using eggs as I am a a constant baker. I added a couple tablespoons of vanilla pudding to thicken up the brownies and make em a little fluffier:).

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
I got this from pomplemousse and had to make them myself. So easy and sooo delicious. I used self-rising flour and cut the salt and baking soda (because self-rising flour already has salt) and refridgerated the batter for 5 minutes...they came out beautiful and tasty!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
hmmm....so I made this, I used reduced sugar frosting because people said it was too sweet. My cake balls were supermoist, not cakelike, but they were too wet (i will cut the frosting if I make again). And because they were so moist they would break apart when I tried to dip them...next time I will refridgerate them. They are a little messy to make too.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
Scrumptious...a must add to my collection of cookie recipes! I followed the recipe exactly minus that I used white chips instead of chocolate. Th cookie was crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. It wasn't cake like. They weren't super puffy or super flat. It was excellent!

this recipe is fantastic! I used a sweet red wine, peach brandy, peach slices, pineapple slices, pear slices, and I added a cup of lemon-lime club soda just before serving. Everyone loved it!

so delicious and tasty! Perfect just the way it is. We used the left overs by pouring 1/2 cup over a salad with crunchy tortilla strips and bbq chicken slices. Yum!

this is the same version of popcorn a friend of mine makes but with out the butter. Pop fresh or bagged popcorn and toss with dried ranch dressing and parmesan. Voola!

Maryland Crab Cakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
I am from Maryland so a few hinters. Never ever flatten your crab cakes like the picture! A Mayland crabcake should be the size of your fist and fluffy. Fold in gently (to prevent shredding) of Fresh Lump Maryland Blue Crabs. A true Maryland Crabcake is 80% broiled, not fried...so broil till golden.

Fried Rice with Cilantro

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
Made this for New Years Eve Dinner. Fantastic Spin...I love fried rice and when I saw the twist of Cilantro ( a very spanish food) I had to try it out. Absolutely delicious. I omitted chicken cause I was too lazy to wait for it, but it tasted great without! Definitely try this recipe.

Rainbow Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
excellent. we used marzipan instead of almond paste and it still tasted delicious. we doubled everything in the recipe minus the sugar because marzipan has extra sugar. Apparently these weren't as sweet as they normally are but I think they had the perfect sweetness.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
i can't even describe this...it really is the best! Suggestions: plump the raisins in warm water (previously mentioned), drain the pineapples + 2 tbsp of pineapple juice liquid, used pre-shredded bags of carrots (contains little to no water content). We used 1/4 cup walnuts (this was plenty for us...i think a cup would be too many) White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe I made up: 1 8oz cream cheese softened, 1 sugar free White Chocolate Pudding Mix, 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar, 3/4 cup cool whip, 1 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and blend all ingredients together and chill for 30 minutes

Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

absolutely delicious! Used "eat well, stay healthly precooked chicken", infused the sundried tomatoes with olive oil, put extra feta, and brushed the closed pastry with egg yolk. Doesn't get any simplier.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
An interesting twist on french toast...almost turns out with a bread pudding consistency. A little bland and that was with adding cinnamon and cinnamon sugar. I will try again with a little tweaking.
