Mini Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
This is an nice, sweet, and simple recipe. I cut the dill down a little and added some mozzarella cheese but other than that it was great. I love the taste of hot dog bread and this did not taste sweet.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
doesn't get any simpler and works well for decorating. I don't like the taste of plain frosting so I always use cream cheese.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
I made this along with 3 other dips and this by far was the favorite!!!! A matter of fact I wasn't going to make it cause I thought oh it going to be spicy but it was perfect, the flavors are outstanding and it will be a standard dip I make when I go out to gatherings!

Cheesy Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
I made this along with three other dips for a party. It is a good base to start with but it needs a little tweaking because it was on the bland side and the flavors to me were a little off.

Strawberry Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Wonderfully refreshing. This salad has the perfect combination of flavors, the slight sweet and citrus salad dressing, the sweet strawberries, and the cool and creamy avocado.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
I am rating this a 5 because my cheesecake tasted like a baby watson new york cheesecake...my mom is a born and raised NYCer and I think she almost teared up at the memories of this cheesecake! However I halved the recipe and combined it with White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. I also cooked it according to this method + a water bath. Here is what I did for those that want it: • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese • 2 eggs • 1/4 cup sour cream • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour • 1 cup white chocolate chips • 1/4 cup half-and-half cream • 1/4 cup white sugar

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Absolutely fantastic. I didn't change a thing for the marinade which is superbly delicious! I cooked according to direction but on the stove, it took approximately 8-10 minutes per side. Then I lightly brushed the inside of my rolls with honey mustard and heated up in the oven, caramelized some red onions, mashed up some avocado and lightly salted it and spread on the prepared rolls. I will make this over and over again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
awesome awesome awesome! Made this and they came out great! I did not refridgerate and when I baked them they did not flatten. The only thing I did differently was to not melt the butter...instead I let it sit out for around 6 hours so that it was super soft...melting the butter is what probably leads to refrigeration as a necessary step. will make again :)

Pear and Blue Cheese Pastry Triangles

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The pear has such a subtle flavor that the combination with onions and blue cheese make the perfect compliment. These little pastries will not last long and they reheat very well.

a very nice base for a quiche...I added chopped baked potatoes and lipton onion soup mix. I also used less eggs, only 2 eggs and it came out fine.

Lemon-Lime Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
I changed somethings around, instead of lemon extract I used 3/4 the zest of a lemon + 1 tablespoon lemon juice...the cupcakes to me were closer to the consistency of a pouncdcake. For Icing I used store-bought cream cheese icing + 1/4 cup milk + 1/2 cup cool whip + 1/4 zest of a lemon.

Grilled Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
I made this for my mom and she loved it so much that she went out and bought another pack of chicken so I could make it again. I used Mrs.Dash garlic and herb seasoning for the chicken and green onions for the sauce, other than that I followed the recipe to a "T".

Scrambled Egg Brunch Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
This recipe was excellent although I can't imagine making this recipe with 8 eggs! We used 4 eggs and it was perfect for the two crescent roll containers (minus one row or 4 crescents). We had leftovers for the next day so I wrapped it up in foil but put a paper towel under the bread to prevent it from getting soggy...it even tasted great the next day!

Hawaiian Belly Buster Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
DELICIOUS!!!! First I halved the recipe. Okay, now I am very familiar with what I like, so when preparing the meat I added a little Adobo and garlic powder. I didn't have hawaiian barbecue sauce, so I used original jack daniels bbq sauce mixed with some pineapple juice from the canned pineapple slices (I used the directed amount in the burger and set some aside for the buns). We use microwavable bacon, so I cooked the burgers with the bacon in the pan next to the burgers then topped the burgers with the bacon and cheese. These burgers have it all, the juiciness, crunchiness, sweet and salty, a great burger and a must try!

Cornflake Bacon Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
what a nice and different twist on a cookie. Just made them tonight for the upcoming weeks breakfast snacks and ate 3 a piece! Nice combo of crunchy, salty, and sweet. So easy to make to! We used golden raisins instead cause that is all we had and we use microwavable bacon cause its faster:).

Beer Dip I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
very salty made as is but a good base to start. Once I added 3/4 a container of 16oz reduced fat sour cream it made the dish perfect. So next time I will do one package of cream cheese and 2/3 cup of sour cream. Everyone loved it once I made it less salty.
