Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
I was so happy to find this recipe after trying something similar at a local restaurant. I screwed up the first time on boiling the eggs. Didn't want to waste the sauce and discovered it is great on salmon worthy of a weekly dinner. I added dried onions and hot sauce for an extra bite. My mom's advise on boiling the eggs is to boil them, remove them from the burner and leave them alone as long as possible. The second time, I succeeded on both the eggs and the result. This time I added hot sauce and horseradish for an extra kick. I'm glad to have this recipe since I'm eating low carb.

Acapulco Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
Yummy South Beach friendly recipe and is very filling. Instead of chicken I used shrimp. Since it was already cooked I let it marinate in a mixture of olive oil, chili powder and garlic salt; added it towards the end. I added fresh mushrooms, used a can of Rotel (didn't have a fresh tomato) and added cilantro. I served it with cheese guacamole on top. Both were unecessary, next time I would just use sour cream. This would be great served on tortillas.

Cracker Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2004
Wow, I can't wait to make this again! The pork chops were crunchy on the outside and so tender on the inside. It's so simple to make. I skipped the water part and just pan friend them. I used seasoned salt, Spike and Italian seasoning in the cracker mixture. I can't wait to try this on chicken.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2004
Great dish! I changed the recipe a bit. I used chopped garlic and onion and added Italian seasoning. I let the chicken simmer in broth with a dash of hot sauce after it browned on both sides. When the chicken was done I made a gravy with 1/4 cup of flour and 1 cup of water. It tasted wonderful with mashed potatos.

Chicken Broccoli Ca - Unieng's Style

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
This tastes great! It was a bit overcooked. I only used broccoli and might add carrots next time. The soy sauce was a bit overpowering.

This is wonderful! I needed a cheese sauce for a recipe. It deosn't need the salt. I love mixing it with rice and brocoli then baking it. I love this as a dip too! White American cheese and pimentos is heavenly.[/color]
