This week has been a bust. We have eaten out more than at home due to schedules. I have yet to start working out and have lost all motivation. Hopefully next week will be different.

Don't look back on the days you missed. Those days are behind and even having Superman fly around the world fast enough to turn back time isn't going to change things. What matters is today and taking your first step. It's not easy. I know. I came up with all sorts of excuses when I first started but once I finally got going, it was addictive and I couldn't stop. One other tip - skip the scale for the first couple of weeks. Let your clothes and how they fit be your guide. Good luck.

About Me
I am a forty something mother of two boys ages 21 and 17. My oldest has moved out so I am now cooking for 3.I work outside the home full time. My time for cooking or baking is limited.
My favorite things to cook
Anything easy and quick!
My cooking triumphs
Using Allrecipes has finally allowed me to make something my kids love!
My cooking tragedies
When I was 12 years old I decided to surprise my parents and make a potato salad. I thought the recipe said cooked potatoes optional so I did not cook the potatoes. I have never lived that one down to this day!
