Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
This bread is so delicious! I thought the baking time seemed like a lot, but it was perfect, and the 9x5 loaf pan made for a really big loaf. Definitely the best and most moist I've ever had! Try it!

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I had this dip over the weekend - the woman that made it covered it with layered provolone cheese that was cut into flower shapes with a cookie cutter, then she put a cheese knife in the top to serve it. Delicious, and looks good, too!

Beer Cheese Pretzel and Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2006
I just made and served the dip portion of this recipe, but everyone loved it. I put it into a little crock pot and took it to a party, but I put it in too early - it congeals pretty quickly so I had to keep stirring it. It would have been fine if I put it in less than an hour before serving. Looks kind of gross but still tastes delicious. Fortunately the guys in the group didn't care what it looked like!

Blueberry Buckle

Great recipe; this was a hit at my brunch. I used frozen blueberries and used 1/2 brown sugar in the topping. Delicious!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
These cookies are fantastic! A nice change from chocolate chip. I substituted vanilla for the brandy and added a little more chips & cranberries than it called for. Yum!

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2005
This is really good. I just made it tonight and it took about 2 1/2 hours over low heat. It really tasted like something at a restaurant - so good! I recommend making the Zucchini Boats on the Grill on this site as a side dish.

Zucchini Boats on the Grill

This is awesome! I left out the olives and peppers for simplicity and used fresh basil. So delicious.

Blackberry and Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2005
This is a great recipe! I took the easy way out and used a refrigerated pie crust and 2 16 oz. bags of frozen fruit. I also added 2 Tbsp. of cornstarch to the dry mix. Delicious! Both fruits complement each other so well, and the result was very impressive!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
I really love this recipe. I did think it had just a tad too much cinnamon and I had to drain off the liquid before mashing them. Other than peeling the apples, this recipe is SIMPLE and I would make it every day!

Peas with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2004
This was really good - I served it at Thanksgiving and my parents really liked it. It's the perfect blend of garlic with the veggies - and nice to serve something other than just peas!

Cranberry Waldorf

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2004
This was delicious. We had it at my sister's bridal shower and everyone enjoyed it. I suggest using red grapes instead of green - loved the vanilla taste! This makes a great snack.

London Broil II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
This was absolutely terrific! I put it in a ziploc bag with the marinade overnight in the fridge. We grilled it for about 5 minutes a side and it was so tender. My husband raved about it - no need for steak sauce! Perfect blend of saltiness and garlic taste.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 27, 2004
This recipe is excellent! We have friends who request it when they come over. I use a chunky Ragu sauce, and skip the provolone in favor of more mozzarella, and I usually make it without meat. Delicious - and easy!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2004
This was excellent! My husband loved it. I had a hard time getting the cream cheese to melt completely...unfortunately the sauce still had little white bits in it from the cheese. I'll need to smooth out that wrinkle to serve it to company, but the taste was great regardless!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2004
This was wonderful! My husband is a picky eater and he loved it, he said it reminded him of when his Gran would make it for him when he was little. Didn't need any salt or pepper, just great as is! Although I used cream of celery soup instead, because I love to cook with it.

Crispy Marshmallow Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2004
These were good right after I made them, but within an hour or so the rice crispies were soggy. Didn't care too much for them then! Definitely for a sweet tooth as is!

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2004
These cookies are DELICIOUS! My family loved them. I didn't have parchment paper so I just sprayed the cookie sheets liberally with cooking spray. Also added vanilla and salt. They were chewy the whole week! Yum!
