Guinness® Corned Beef

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

These were good, but I think next time I'll be making some changes. I made a double batch of these for Christmas and followed recipe exactly. First I would use Navy beans, not Great Northern, they are too big and get a bit mushy, next I will add more of the cooking liquid since the finished beans were a bit on the dry side. I think the pork would be better if they were cooked first. This recipe is a good base for from scratch baked beans which I've never had. Thanks.

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Simply amazing! I used a half pork loin and omitted the cinnamon and cloves since my apple butter is very strong. Otherwise I made just as the recipe said and it was awesome!!! Will be making this again. Thank you!!!

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Very good base recipe to improve on! I did add alot of things the other reviewers suggested. My hubby said it's a keeper, which is something I don't hear often when trying a new recipe! He was really suprised when I told him there was pumpkin in it. It is much more filling too than regular chili! Thanks for the recipe.

Leftover Casserole

Very good recipe. I didn't have any cream of soup so I added more milk and used left over pork roast and frozen mixed veggies. I did not cook the pasta before hand, I figured the extra time in the oven was worth not dirtying another pot and colander and being the same amount of time. I was very crunchy on top. I think this would work better in bowl type casserole dish than in a 9x13 pan. Less surface area to get hard and crunchy. But, my hubby said it's a keeper which he doesn't say very often to new recipes.

Cincinnati Chili I

Very good recipe! I used turkey instead of beef and used a hand blender to give it the right texture. Great alternative to buying the packets at the store.

Leftover Roast Brunswick Stew

Very good use of leftover roast. I really liked it. I followed the recipe, but I did use frozen corn instead. I'm planning on making it again tonight, but I'm using less BBQ sauce this time, was a bit overpowering last time. But very good overall. Thanks for the recipe Amy!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie

Very good! Used oatmeal, no wheat germ and strawberry freezer jam. Sooo go. Not so sure about the 5 servings though, lol. My two year old and I shared one blender full. I was a bit thin,I did use fat free milk, maybe next time I'll use less milk. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Roasted Pork

Very good, flavorful and moist. Mine wasn't falling apart, and I did end up cooking it for 1 1/2 hours for it to be cooked through. I also used apple butter since I had no applesauce. I think next time I will use the crockpot though. Very good sauce. Thanks for the recipe!

Best Carrot Cake Ever

This is The Best Carrot Cake Ever!!! I make cake every Easter and for carrot cake lovers birthdays. I lost the recipe one year and tried to substite another one and nobody was fooled by the switch! Very moist and ohh soo good. Works great as a layered cake or a sheet cake, everyone raves about it. Thanks so much.
