Texas Caviar II

This is not Texas Caviar, this is a can of peas and some salsa slapped together. If I take a can of turkey parts and some chicken broth it's not a deluxe Thanksgiving roast.

I tried the recipe and it actually tasted good, but it was not Avgolemono Soup. The fact that it is easy doesn't mean it is the same. Calling something "Easy Corvette Automobile" doesn't change the Volkswagon into a Corvette no matter how nice the Volkswagon is. Sorry about the low rating but if you resubmit it as it's own soup I would give it a much higher rating.

Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and Bean Casserole

Very good recipe but an excellent variation on this is: 1. Always precook the brats in straight beer with onions chopped up into large pieces in beer. Boil the onions in beer until soft prior to boiling brats. Only boil brats for 5 minutes then take off heat and let it soak in all the beer and onion flavor for a while. 2. Take several jalapenos and center celery stalks and chop to small 1/4" pieces and sautee them in butter over a low heat until very soft. Keep pan covered. I use 50/50 mixture but if you like it hotter go 66/33 or if not so hot go 25/75(first number is percentage of jalapeno in mix) 3. Take a flavor injector syringe and inject the jalapeno and celery into the brat. Be sure to only inject the mixture into the ends of the brat, not through the sides because the the juice will leak out during the cooking with the sauerkraut. 4. Put brats in the sauerkraut and cook til done. 5. Use the onions in the beer on your sandwich. 6. Enjoy

Gary's Turkey Burritos

Excellent, but I added jalopenas to the mix. I bought fresh Jalopenas and fried them in olive oil, then draind the oil and mixed the peppers in with the meat. The longer you fry the peppers the less heat the remains. Also if you dont want them real hot take out the membranes and seeds and chose peppers without the skin beginning to crack.

No-Cook Never-Fail Fudge

I never cooked fudge before and mine was a success. I used chocolate chips and mixed nuts otherwise the exact recipe. It is as easy as advertised, make it with confidence.

Pad Thai

This best thing I can say about this recipe is that it wont clutter up my recipe box any more. If it had any taste I could say it tasted bad but it doesn't, If it had any life to it I could say it died but it doesn't, if it had any sice to it i could say it is bland but it doesnt. So if you are looking for a tasteless no life meal that has no spice in it at all try this one.

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

WOW if you like jalapenos you gotta love these. If they tasted any better I would quit eating other food. I have made these at least five times and all I get are requests for the recipe and compliments. Mkae these and you wont be disaointed. Use the hottest peppers you can find for a little more pizzaz
