High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

This was perfection in my oven. Though it was done in 65 min (3.8 lbs) . Thank goodness I had had preset my thermometer for 145 deg. I keep my pizza stone in it and had used the oven earlier in the afternoon so it still retained some heat which roasted this a bit quicker. Will definitely be a repeat for cooking roasts. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Enchiladas Suizas

This is excellent. I didn't have green chile's so left them out. I lessen the salt to 1/2 tsp. (could be cut back even more). Omitted the frying in oil step, Just continued the recipe from that point. Had leftover chicken that had been marinated in italian dressing and grilled, so I used that. I live down in the Houston area and this recipe is right up there with the great Mexican restaurants down here. Thanks again for sharing such a great recipe!!

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Excellent nachos! I used chicken tenderloins, browned them in olive oil, sprinkled with lime juice. Only used 1/2 c. salsa. Sliced the browned tenderloins in small pieces. Made one batch with Mission Cheese sauce. Second batch as above. Also, sprinkled finely chopped lettuce all over. Didn't last long in my house!!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Wow, this recipe deserves more than 5 stars. The only changes I made were to lessen salt to 1 tsp. and only used 3/4 tsp. liquid smoke per other reviewer's suggestions, omitted red pepper! Thanks for sharing!

Polish Cabbage Noodles

Excellent! I halved the recipe and taking other reviewer's advice, I added a touch of sugar and sauteed the bow tie noodles in with the cabbage! Definitely, a keeper! Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Crispy Fried Chicken

Excellent recipe. I used 1 1/2 tsp. of salt but could of used a bit more, 1 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. poultry seasoning. I did let the chicken marinate in the buttermilk for about 6 hrs. Next time will only do it for 3 hrs. Reheated so crispy the next day. Was excellent cold also. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Definitely a keeper in my recipe box.

Southern Grilled Barbecued Ribs

Wow, these were delicious. The only changes I made were, I left my spareribs in the oven for an extra 20 minutes and I thickened the sauce with 2 T. cornstarch. We just prefer a thicker sauce. Definitely will be using this recipe again and again. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could of given it ten stars.

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Peanut Butter Bread I

Excellent bread! Was great toasted! The only changes were made for my tastes, only used 1 tsp. salt and 3 tsp. yeast. Still a high, light loaf. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

World's Best Lasagna

Finally found an excellent recipe for lasagna. The only changes I did was to use 1# gr. beef, 1/2# sausage which is what I had on hand, also only used one can of tomato paste (my sauce was plenty thick) and as with other reviewers did cut the salt down (1 Tsp.) But still had a bit of a saltiness to it, don't know why. But today I reheated a piece and it had no saltiness at all. Only 9 of 12 noodles would fit in my lasagna pan. Will pitch my other lasagna recipes and stick with this one...Thank you John for sharing this wonderful recipe. Carrie

Barbecued Beef

This was excellent. Went with other reviews and put it in the crockpot the night before, was greasy but took care of that. Also, did make an extra batch of sauce, put a bit more in the shredded meat then the extra served on the side. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Brisket with BBQ Sauce

I used a different dry rub recipe..but used the sauce and cooking instructions...Excellent..I did omit the liquid smoke flavoring..Used a 3 1/2# brisket..cooked in 3 hrs. Also used other reviewers recommendation on doubling the sauce..was very tender..definitely a keeper..thank you for sharing this recipe..

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Excellent recipe..I also added a splash of white wine and only 2 T. lemon juice..omitted the red pepper and used Old Bay Seasoning instead..Grilled for 3 min. on indoor grill.

Cathy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Excellent flavor..I opted to use mozzorella and crushed croutons and bone-in chicken breasts. Sprinkled with a bit of garlic salt and parsley. I forgot the butter..didn't make a difference..still was very good..
