Banana Spice Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
I love this variation for using up super ripe bananas! I made the recipe pretty much as posted, but omitted the nuts and raisins for my 4 year old. She Loves them!! I like that there are so many ways to change it up...add coconut, chocolate chips, nuts, you name it and it would go with this recipe. I plan to make them again sandwiching them with a homemade cream cheese frosting..banana spice whoopee pies!! Awesome ;-)

Cream Of Asparagus Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
Love this recipe!! I also made a few adjustments when I made the soup...I roasted the asparagus first, just 15 minutes at 400 degrees, and only added them into the broth for the last 5 minutes of cooking before processing the batch. And I also used heavy cream instead of milk, salt to taste. I served the soup with a table spoon of sour cream floated in the middle of the bowl and home made garlic parmesan croutons on top...SUPER!!!!

Banana Oat Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Love this recipe!! I also followed the suggestions of the others and altered my bars a little...added 1/4 c flour, 1/2 c Coconut, 1/3 c brown sugar instead of white sugar, and one whole egg, oh and instead of 2 tsp of baking powder I only did 1 1/2 tsp...the bars are super moist (not rubbery at all) I am so excited to have a good recipe to use up ripe bananas and the variations to this recipe are endless, add dried fruit or berries, nuts, apple sauce, Anything!! AWESOME :-)
