Key Lime Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
Although the cheesecake was a huge hit, I'm only giving it four stars. The cheesecake didn't have the normal "cheesecake texture." I think it was too creamy...more like a pie than a cheesecake.

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
This was the most tender and delicious steak ever. The next day I used the left overs for fajitas and quesadillas. Yummy!

Pollo Fajitas

These fajitas are great. And considering that I'm from Texas, it takes a lot to impress me.

The recipe was fantastic. It's even better if you add some chopped garlic.

The fish was okay, but a little too rich for me.

Very good. I've also made it with poppy seeds instead of basil.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
I make this soup all of the time...and everybody loves it. I've modified it a little...1 can chicken (if I don't have time to boil chicken), 2 cans chicken broth, I puree the 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 can black beans, 1 can corn, and I add one can of enchilada sauce. I also prefer to use jack cheese.

Amazing. But be careful, this stuff is strong! I usually leave out the rum and my guests still rave!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
Somehow, my shrimp came out a little soggy. I'll probably give it another try, but I wasn't really that impressed.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
I've made this twice now for Thanksgiving and it was amazing was both times. I swear, it was even better than my mom's turkey...just don't tell her I said that. I've also cut the recipe in half and roasted a chicken.
