No Tomato Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2015
Oh my gosh, this recipe has saved us! We have lived without red sauce for almost two years because of my boyfriend's allergy to tomatoes. I made just a few changes: substituted 2 tbsp lemon juice for the red wine vinegar and used the juice I reserved from draining the veggies to thin it out and make it more saucy. This tastes exactly like tomato sauce!!! Thank you!! We're so excited to make all the things with red sauce we haven't been able to eat!

Cream of Fresh Asparagus Soup II

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2014
I didn't have sour cream, so I substituted a mixture of evaporated milk and vinegar (thanks google!). Otherwise, I changed nothing about this recipe. It is delicious!!! I will DEFINITELY be making this again.

Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
Well, I definitely tweaked this recipe, but it was SO good!! I sauteed fresh broccoli in about 3 tbsp butter with a pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper, used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of chicken, nixed the water chestnuts and lemon juice, used about half a cup of light mayo, fresh mushrooms and about 3/4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, and leftover chicken (white and dark meat). Threw in some rotisserie chicken spice, garlic powder, dried chopped onions, and some more pepper. Mixed everything together and then spread into the baking dish and topped with a thin layer of more cheese and french fried onions. Served over buttered egg noodles. OMG. One of the best things I have ever tasted. I will definitely be making this one again!!
