Walnut Baklava

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Excellent recipe. Just remember to cut into squares, before adding syrup mixture, otherwise no syrup will reach the center, causing it to be dry. 2nd crush the walnuts into small bits or they'll be overpowering....Overall I got raves from my peeps

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Very good. My only advice for this would be too fill pot halfway with mixture, then add an extra sheet of pie dough in the middle to help hold it all together. Makes it easier to cut and eat without it all spilling out

Good recipe. I suggest cooking it a few minutes longer and serve with a red enchilada sauce.

I liked this recipe, but it needed just a little more sauce. The sauce itself needed more kick....kind of plain

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
My whole family loves this recipe...even my 4 yr old. Only change I make is don't add water to the egg...too thin and 50/50 mix of Italian bread crumbs and Italian Panko bread crumbs.

Broccoli Chicken Roli

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Good food. Needs more cheese. I'll cook the broccoli before hand next time. I used 2-packs of crescent rolls to cover those exposed spots. I look forward making this again. I'll update.

Good burger. I suggest using less cayenne & pepper... a wee bit spicy. Topped with bacon.

Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This is by far the best chicken salad I've ever eaten. switched the chesnuts for slivered almonds...Fam doesn't like the way chestnuts taste. Added 1/2 cup - thin sliced carrots. Tripled the bacon. Added sharp cheddar melted by broiler onto fresh Italian bread for a few min...crisp the bread

Cranberry-Pear Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Great salad. Couldn't find apricot nectar, even in the goya section of two different stores. Used the syrup from canned apricot in the canned fruit isle.

Best salad yet!! Try adding slivered almonds and dried cranberries with it. These added ingredients are cheapest at Job Lot.

Flowering Vidalia Onion

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Pretty good. Careful with the horseradish. One tablespoon is MORE than enough. Add more miracle whip if the radish is to strong. Also cook the onion a minute or two longer

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Excellent!!! I double dipped these in the bread crumb/panko mix so as to avoid any cheese leaking out. Turned out great

Bacon-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
It was a good dinner. Something tells me this would be a good breakfast dish. I de-boned my chicken thighs and cut them into chunks with chopped bacon and the potatos quartered. It did take more than an hour to cook, even cut up, so after the 1st hour I switched to the broiler. 10 min or so then mix the medley and another 10 min or so. Served with ketchup.
