Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2003
AWESOME! Simple, quick and easy...I used butter with the shortening, added a dousing of vanilla, used coarse salt, and dropped in a handful of extra-large semi-sweet chips...Dusted them with sugar...They are so delicious! Next, I will try adding walnuts..Everyone loves them - GREAT recipe!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2002
*This is the BEST pie ever! My whole family loves it and I'm already thinking ahead for all of the get-togethers I can take it to! I used a mixture of Fugi, Braeburn and Gala apples, sprinkled them lightly with lemon juice (once they were sliced), and doused them with vanilla. I then added plenty of cinnamon, and I added the butter/sugar mixture to the apples. Once my lattice crust was in place, I covered it with the butter mixture (cut the recipe in half for this) and sprinkled it with cinnamon, all using a ready-made pie pastry, too! VERY quick and simple, chewy, crispy, soft and sweet! (I also put my pie plate onto a baking sheet lined with parchment for easy clean-up...And I covered the pie edges with foil after the first 15 minutes.) Perfection!!*

ABC (Absolute Best Chewy) Chocolate Chippers

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2002
*These really are the best! The kosher salt, cream and corn syrup make all the difference. Wetting your hands really does help, as does the use of parchment. Makes a very shiny and smooth dough, and the cookies hold together very well and form a nice shape. Great texture, chewy, creamy and sweet! I used milk chocolate chips and omitted the nuts, and I also added an extra-large dollop of sour cream. This recipe will be passed down to my children! Thank you, Stacey, for perfecting a favorite recipe!!*

*This recipe makes such a delicious and creamy fudge! Very simple...I suggest using a stainless steel pot and make sure to stir frequently! I rolled some into walnuts (the best!), as well as coconut flakes, marshmallows, etc. Very smooth!*

Buckeye Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2002
*Just like my Mom used to make! These are so delicious, and the recipe is quick and easy......I used milk chocolate chips, and I didn't have tooth picks, so I just did it the messy way and dipped them by hand. Everyone loved them!*

Chewy Drizzled Cinnamon Chips Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2002
These were pretty easy to make, and smelled great in the oven...My hubby LOVED them, though he was the only one...It just seems to be lacking something to counter all of the cinnamon...If you REALLY like cinnamon, though, you will probably like this recipe!
