Kevin's Sea Shells

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
was very good, but rich and heavy.. Needed more spice so added italian seasoning, garlic and some jarred pesto to the shrimp mixture. Ran out of mixture and didn't want to double fill the shells, so made the other 1/2 with garden veg cream cheese (all I had on hand) and italian cheeses.. The kids actually preferred the cream cheese filling over the shrimp. I enjoyed both and will make again.

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I am sure this is great the way it is written, but I tweaked it to what others suggested. I did not use corn(kids wouldn't like it) added the refried beans to the meat mixture, used taco seasoning mix and 1 cup of taco sauce. I did not use butter but sprayed pam in pan and on top of shells, sprinkled cheese on top. Baked for about 15 min @400 served with/lettuce, sour cream ,salsa and guc with a side a spanish rice... everyone loved it~Thanks for the recipe sooo good.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
This was really good and easy in the crockpot, put 3 breast in the sauce cooked on low, then shredded put back in sauce for about an hour. Toasted some buns put blue cheese dressing (we were almost out of that) would have put lots more on... served with carrots on the side.... yummy and easy!

I used boneless chicken thighs in the crockpot and used coke instead of lemon lime soda (don't think it matter which soda you use) I also used white wine vinager ... just put it all in crockpot, very easy.. served over brown rice with the sauce and veggie.. most of the family loved it, would make it again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
I thought this was great! I added some extras a splash of Red wine vinegar, about 1/2 pkg of onion soup mix instead of real onion, garlic lots of salt & pepper. I doubled the recipe and towards the end added 8 ounces of cream cheese onion and chive.. soo good! next time I will make sure to have some type of bread/rolls to dip in sauce.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
oh my these were sooo good! I pretty much followed the recipe but I never measure spices, just a dash here and there etc.. I wasn't sure if I needed to still put them in the fridge since I was baking them, but I did. I put them on baking sheets sprinkled with alittle more flour and sprayed with pam. I baked @400 for 40 min turning once then I put some BBQ sauce on some and the hot sauce on the others and baked @300 for 15min... they were great! I was surprised that they were crispy too! Thank you!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2006
I loved this! I pretty much followed the reviews of everyone else ex.. cut up ck and browned , doubled the sauce used 1/2 wine and 1/2 ck broth, left butter the same (probably could have used less tho)added green onion and some mushrooms , garlic powder and s&p. I also used wide egg noodles. I thought after all the changes tho, that it tasted alot like a Chicken stroganoff.. I think next time I will try the breasts over fettucine.. soo good tho! thank you!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This is the best Italian Beef I have had at home! I did not change anything, but toasted some hoagie rolls in the toaster oven with a slice of provolone cheese and some spicy mustard... sooo good, my DH likes the whole pepper thing which he adds also.

Angel Hair Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
I have made this a few different ways now, I do not like it with the angle hair, or the garlic ranch alone. But loved it with the elbow pasta and a combo of garlic ranch and orignal I also added crab, celery, bacon , green onion, pepper, and dill. very good but needs more than the orignal recipe.
