Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2014
This was so yummy! My husband loved it and even was commenting late into the evening on how good it was. I simmered it on medium low and after 25 minutes it was a little too cooked. I used 4 large (Costco) chicken breasts and cut them each in half. I also doubled the sauce and poured it over rice and yummy stir fry veggies.

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2014
Probably won't make these again. Not enough banana flavor, and a little too much of a "healthy" flavor...and not necessarily in a good way.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: May 11, 2014
It was really good the first night, but leftovers got old really fast.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: May 11, 2014
The sausage was so yummy and really added to the flavor. I wouldn't do chicken because I think it would be a little too bland.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
Note to self: Too creamy for me...I prefer enchiladas that omit the cream of chicken/mushroom soups.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2014
This is the first time I have ever made no-bakes and had them actually form into nice plump cookies! They set up well and taste better than they ever have.

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2014
Yummy! I cooked about a pound of chicken on the stove over medium high heat with the garlic, and added two heaping handfuls of chopped spinach once the chicken was cooked. The balsamic vinegar was just right for our family, and even the little one enjoyed it.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2014
This was my first round of making meatballs, but I must say I was expecting much more. I found that they were in need of more flavor and moisture. Next time I will cook them in a slow cooker with a sauce or marinade.

Zesty Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
Delicious, quick and easy to make. I didn't have any tomatoes on hand and it was still super yummy.

Applesauce

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2013
I doubled the amount of cinnamon, and cut the sugar in half because of the natural sweetness of the apples. I also doubled the recipe to can extras! Yum!

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
I have made this a couple times and have used balsamic vinegar instead of the red wine vinegar because it was all I had on hand. People liked the balsamic taste, but I thought it was too strong both times.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
We will see how it is! The marinade smells really great and I like the fact that I have all of the ingredients on hand on a normal basis.

Karen's Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
Really Yummy!!! I used 3 frozen chicken breasts and cooked on low for 2 hours, on high for about 30 mins, and then I shredded the chicken. I then put it on the "keep warm" setting for about 2 hours and it was perfect then. I am still trying to understand my crock pot. I added a little water because I thought it may be dry...that was a mistake. Great recipe as is.

Baked Salmon II

BAKE FOR 10-15 MINS!!! I only baked it for 30 minutes and it was too long! Next time I make this dish I will check it at 20 minutes and then add time from there. This marinade is DIVINE!!!

Roasted Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
SO YUMMY! I made it with potatoes, roma and cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and carrots. I heated the cubed potatoes in the microwave first for 6-9 mins. and then mixed all ingredients in a big bowl to coat oil mixture over all the vegetables. Baked them for 30 minutes and it was perfect!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2013
My internet was slow and wouldn't pull up the reviews, so I began making it anyway. I changed the serving size to 36 because I only have 9.25x5.25" pans so it would be good sized loaves. Next time I will try the applesauce/oil mixture, eliminate some sugar as suggested and add another cup or two of zucchini.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
When I seared the edges it filled the house with smoke, and I think it made the roast dry out actually. I cooked it on low for 8 hours which was too long.

Vanilla Granola

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2013
I used 5 t. vanilla and thought that this recipe could use a little more flavor all around. I baked it for 30 minutes and thought it wasn't crispy enough. I later tried Allison Spencer's granola and it was a million times better than this recipe. The thing that is nice about this one is the limited ingredients.

Balsamic Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: May 16, 2013
I added 1 Zucchini and a handful of broccoli. The fish was too bland-possibly because I didn't let the balsamic juices soak into the fish long enough before baking.
