Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
Like another reviewer - the recipe looked great and I was surprised by the negative reviews. I followed the recipe as stated - no substitutions. Pork was fork tender and the sauce was so tasty. I'm planning on making this recipe again for a late holiday supper meal. It was so easy in the crockpot

wow - so easy an so tasty. didn't change the recipe at all. I used a large piece of haddock. I think it would be equally tasty with cod.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
fantastic recipe - I didn't dip them in chocolate but drizzled melted white chocolate on the top in a decorative design for a wedding cookie tray. It was a last minute addition to the tray but the hit of the cookie eaters. So easy. This recipe is truly a keeper to be added to the holiday cookie trays from now on!

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
this was very good. it reminded me of one I had at the resturaunt years ago. I love it when the bread soaks up all that flavor. I added a few anchovies on the top, but that's just me. the recipe was just as good without them.

Fruit Kuchen

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
for kuchen - it was perfect! nice and sweet and buttery. This recipe reminded me of my Grammy's, who happened to be German too. My Grammy, took her recipe with her when she passed as she never wrote anything down. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Super Duper Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
fantastic cookies. I had the recipe once, but lost it. You must follow the recipe exactly and watch your oven time - it is easy to overbake cookies. These are just scrumptious, just like I remembered them.

Baby BLT

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2004
it was a little extra work, but it was worth it. A big hit at the church dinner. I used only the tops of the green onions to get the added green color. I'm thinking next time I would add a bit of grated cheese to some of the mixture as a variation.

very good. I like it because it uses oil instead of butter. add an additional 1 tsp extracts like almond & butter in addition to the vanilla extract for more flavor

Ukrainian Prune Torte

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2003
MMMMMMM! My cousin's paternal grandmother was Ukrainian and used to make a similar recipe and as children we would devour it minutes (though we didn't know it was prunes until we were older) . I could never find a recipe just like she made - until this one came along. The hardest part is the waiting for it to stand - don't rush it as that process is what makes it so good. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2003
This is good even when you are just 'camping' in the back yard. I changed the corn to be the Mexi-corn mix and the 'veg-all' mix for some variations and it was great. Grilled Cheese (taco cheese) sandwiches are a great accompianment

Dorsey's Fish & Oyster House Crab Cakes

so easy and tastes great. As we are trying to cut back on fat I prepared these on the George Foreman Grill... no pam, no oil and with the no stick surface these just slide right off! This recipe is truly a keeper.

Kitty Kat Bars

It may not taste exactly like the bars, but it has the same layers and appearance and the taste is similar. My family loved it. I used Ritz crackers instead of club crackers as others have mentioned.

Absolute Best Liver and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
mmmmmm! this realy is the best recipe for liver. I had never thought of soaking in milk before. When I tried it last night it came out fantastic. It was tender, moist and delicious. Not the usual "shoeleather" quality that liver can sometimes take on. Yes I belive this recipe will convert liver haters into liver tryers.

Oatmeal Refrigerator Cookies

Great cookies- make sure you change the BAKING SODA FROM 1 CUP TO 1 TEASPOON. I recognized the typo as it is easy to do. I didn't have enough for the cookie jar as they kept disappearing from the counter while they were still warm.

Junk Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2002
A really easy recipe. Not only is it kid friendly but the kids helped me make it. To make it even easier I use the 93% ground beef so you can skip draining it. My group liked it with the hot & chunky salsa.
