Slow Cooker Taco Soup

I accidentally added half the amount of diced tomatoes, and I couldn't find a 4 oz can of chile peppers, and had to just buy a larger can of jalapeno peppers and guesstimate. This turned out really well! I didn't find it bland at all, but that's probably because I added a random amount of jalapeno peppers.

Taco Pie

I made this last night, and it turned out pretty well. I wish the recipe had specified what size square pan to use, because the pan I chose ended up being a little too small, and I wasted an entire bag of 9 oz chips - which I'd already crushed. Still, it turned out nice for my first attempt at an unfamiliar recipe. I wasn't able to fit all of the sour cream into the pie, but when serving it we just added a few scoops of it to our plates as a topping.

Quick Quiche

Simple and delicious! I had to use cheddar cheese because I didn't have any Swiss, and used turkey bacon because I don't eat pork, but aside from that I stuck to the recipe. Amazingly easy. Edit: Well, the first serving was perfect. All of the servings after it were very salty at the bottom. My roommate thinks that all of the salt sank to the bottom of the pan. I whipped it pretty well before pouring, so next time I'll just cut the salt in half.

This was amazing! I used grape preserves instead of apricot, and it was absolutely delicious, so don't feel limited to apricot.

This is nice recipe if you don't have a lot of ingredients on hand, but it tasted bland to me. It was semi-salvageable with some onion, but the recipe really needs to specify that the rice should be at least a day old so it won't stick together.
