I am learning about healthier options for the cuisine I normally eat. So I am trying to switch ingredients and cook more healthy. I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I do enjoy a good meal whether it is with meat or not.

I love to learn new ways to cook chicken, pork and fish. As well as vegetables and stir-fry's.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up eating soul food. So anything that reminds me of my culture is great. Unfortunately that food isn't the healthiest so I try to substitute a lot of the ingredients and find new flavors.
My cooking triumphs
I can grill a really good steak and vegetables, and make a really mean salad with home-made vinaigrette.
My cooking tragedies
I am still struggling with Lasagna, Meatloaf, and anything with baking. LOL
