Juicy Lucy Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2013
My husband usually grills our burgers so he was skeptical about these since I cooked them in a cast iron skillet. The whole family loved these though I forgot to tell the teenagers about the cheese inside so they burned their tongues but still said they were better than dads backyard burgers!

Real N'awlins Muffuletta

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2013
This was a great tasting sandwich although it was definitely labor intensive. I wish I would have doubled the olive salad because I barely had enough for both sandwiches and it took about 45 minutes to prep and chop all of the veggies. I probably won't make this often, but it really was delicious!

Delicious! I used the whole quart of half and half and also added an extra 2 cups of milk. I will use an extra can of clams next time I make this. The whole family loved it. This recipe is going in my regular winter soup rotation!

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
This is so easy and good! Pretty much the same as making a normal grilled cheese (I was too afraid to try the broiler) on the stove. I added a bit more seasonings and just served them as normal grilled cheese, no need for dipping sauce tho I bet its good. Even the kids loved it!

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
This was SOOO good! Followed anothers advice and made the garlic spread myself, no food processor tho so i used the blender and worked just fine.I had 4 breasts and on 2 of them i followed the recipe exactly, the other 2 i spread the cheese spread all over the other side of the breast instead of just putting a dollop and the ones with more cheese were definetly better. Also added some grated mozzarella during the last 5 minutes of cooking and Yum!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2004
I have used this recipe several times in the past few months and it always turns out great! A few minor changes ~ I seasoned the flour mixture w/ garlic powder and greek seasoning. As per reccomendations I cut the oil to 1/2 cup (it was plenty. This is a great recipe for unexperienced cooks like me =)

Berry Shooters

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2003
The first time I made these I used rasberry jello and rasberry vodka and they were way too strong! Even the hard core drinkers could not stomach them. Then I used cherry jello and Captain Morgans Spiced Rum and they were great!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: May 23, 2003
Out of all the recipes I have tried on this site this is probaly the best one and easiest! I took others advice~ 1. doubled the garlic (i used minced instead of crushed) 2. pounded the breasts (also poked holes w/ a fork)3. seasoned bread crumb mixture w/ salt & pepper, lemon pepper and a pinch of fresh parsley. So good. Also made a pasta side dish w/ the leftover garlic mixture. Hubby and kids loved it, even scraped the pan!

This was perfect! I made some chicken that came out dry so I made this sauce and drizzled it over the chicken. I then poured the rest over some Linguine! Yum!

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
I am a huge fan of feta cheese and this was so good! I made a few changes but very slight. I did not have time to marinate so after pounding the breasts I rubbed them w/ salt, pepper and basil. To combat the dryness, I made a garlic butter sauce (found on this site) and drizzled it over the chicken after it was baked. YUMMY!

Loosemeat Sandwiches III

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
I have never tasted one of these and only know about them from the show Roseanne. I came across this recipe when I was trying to find a quick easy way to fix ground beef. This really hit the spot! I only made minor changes; extra salt & pepper and some garlic salt. We did find them a bit messy and difficult to eat but after we wrapped them in wax paper it was fine!
