About this Cook
I have been baking/cooking since i was 11 years old.I am now 17 and baking is my passion! Baking is a great stress reliever and I truly enjoy it! With a family of 7 and many friends I never have a shortage of test tasters. I also am a firm believer that baking something out of a box is not baking. If it can made from starch, it should be.I also am kind of health nut (hence my name) and love to eat healthy and workout which can some times be a problem when I bake all the time and have to try everything!
My favorite things to cook
Cookies Desserts
My favorite family cooking traditions
We host an annual Christmas party and we always bake a ton! Other than that, My family doesn't really have any cooking traditions
My cooking triumphs
The first pumpkin pie I made totally from scratch, I also know how to make a really, really, good pie crust! Recently I made some breakfast tacos for my guy friend and he truly enjoyed them and said they were one of the best he'd ever had, a true triumph in Texas where breakfast tacos and taco stands rein supreme!
My cooking tragedies
I have tons! I once made an oreo cake without flour and was mystified when it turned out like pudding. lol I also once used coarse kosher salt when making frosting for cupcakes that I took to class... they got thrown away and I felt horrible! Needless to say I usually leave out the salt when making baked goods.

Chocolate Strawberry Banana Milkshake
Pretty good! The flavor was unlike any smoothie I've had before!I didn't have frozen strawberries so I just used non-frozen ones and added about a cup of ice. i also didn't have chocolate mix drink so I just subbed in a tbsp of cocoa powder and a tbsp of sugar. I also used whole milk instead of low fat which made it creamier. Thanks for a great recipe and I can't wait to try it with frozen strawberries!

Fluffy Pancakes
YUMMY!!! These were the fluffiest pancakes i have ever seen and they grew to be quite big too!! The taste was pretty good for plain pancakes I can't wait to try fruits and various extracts like raspberry. This recipe was also really fast and easy. Thanks so much!!The only problem is I am probably gonna have to like six times it for my family:)

Marshmallow Treats
Really good!! Way better than the original rice krispies recipe! Even my parents who think rice krispies taste like cardboard thought they were great!Oh and here is a tip: I lay out some wax paper and then just press the treats into whatever shape/ thickness I want, it makes clean up a lot easier because as soon as I'm done cutting up the treats, I just wrap them and store them in the wax paper.
