Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
I don't know how you could mess this recipe up. This is the easiest recipe for white bread that I have made. I added green food coloring for St.Patrick's Day and the kids loved it. For Easter I'm going to make yellow and pink bread. This recipe is now my number one white bread recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
I have made these without adding shortening or wax and with. I like the results much better with adding the shortening or wax. The strawberries have a nice shine to them. Looks like I bought them from a speciality shop. Thanks for the great recipe.

Made recipe as ingredients called for but instead of orange juice I replaced with cider. I was out of orange juice. The dough was easy to make and the cobbler was great. Would make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Candied Apples II

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2005
Thank you for sharing this great recipe. They are just like the one you buy at the fair. I made seventy-five candy apples for a church function. Don't be afraid to customize the recipe to servings needed; the recipe comes out fine. The directions were easy and apples came out great! This recipe is a keeper!

Thank you for a great recipe! It was so good I made a second batch the next day. I used canned peaches in one batch and canned cherries in the second batch. I took this to a picinic and it was the only dessert gone by the end of the evening. Great reviews from the guests at the picnic and my family loves it!
