Quinoa Veggie Salad with Zesty Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
This is the first Quinoa recipe I have ever made and I have to say it is DELICIOUS!!! Like other reveiwers, I only used half the amount of oil (just to cut out some fat) and only have the amount of quinoa, because I am the only person in my house who will likely eat this. :o) You could pretty much use any veggies you have one hand, but its the dressing that makes this salad sooooo good! Thank you for sharing

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
I have the world's pickiest eaters in my house. I decided to serve this to my family last night and see how it went over. My husband actually said that he prefers this to a beef meatloaf. I was shocked! I didn't have a lot of the ingredients on hand, so I improvised a bit on the spices, but it's really the quinoa that makes this recipe. I love the texture of this loaf. It will definitely become a staple in our meal rotations. Thanks!

Apple Orchard Punch

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2004
This is one of the best punches I have ever tasted. I make it for all my parties and I get a lot of requests to bring it when I go to someone else's party. Instead of a sliced apple, I use a large can of pineapple rings and the juice. It adds a nice flavour. Thanks for sharing your recipe!!!

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2004
This is the BEST Gingerbread cookie recipe I have found. The cookies were nice and moist, not hard. I made them exactly as the recipe stated and they turned out awesome! I brought them to work and everyone raved, a definite keeper! Thanks for sharing this terrific recipe

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
This is a very moist and delicious banana bread. I made it exactly as the recipe called for, but I halved the recipe and made 8 mini loaves. I loved the addition of cocoa to make it a chocolate bread, but I would have prefered more of a 'banana' flavour. I brought it to work and everyone that tried it, LOVES it! I will definitely be keeping this recipe, but will modify it for a lower fat version the next time I make it. Thanks!

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2004
This cookie was just what it promised... very soft and chewy. I did adjust the recipe a bit, I substituted half the white sugar with brown sugar and I added 1/4 cup flour. The first batch didn't spread and I pressed down the rest with a fork, and they turned out better that way. Very good cookie, but needs just a bit more peanut butter flavour. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Soft and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
I won't make this recipe again, as the cookies were paper thin. They are soft and chewy, just as the name implies, but they have too much sugar for my liking and I prefer cookies that have a little more substance to them! I followed the recipe exactly, with the exception of flattening them with a fork before baking them - this step is not necessary, as they flatten out all by themselves. I easily got 6 dozen cookies, not the 3 dozen the recipes states it makes. I will keep looking for that "perfect" chewy peanut butter cookie recipe.

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2005
I made this twice. The cookies spread out so much that I thought I must have used too much shortening the first time. I was wrong! I followed the recipe to the 'T', measuring exactly. The second batch was worse than the first. I even tried lowering the temp, after the first dozen came out so thin, but this didn't help at all.
