About this Cook
I'm a grandmother, to a 8yr old boy, with mild autism, and sweet 7,5 and 2 yr old girls. I have 3 handsome sons, who are great cooks, My middle son, does everthing from scratch, and is the best, though, my oldest, loves to experiment.
My favorite things to cook
I'm more of a baker, than anything, and love to try new recipes on my extended famliy. I'm never short of volunteers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Old home recipes. I do try to lighten them up when I can, to make them healthier.
My cooking triumphs
The Hawaiian menu, I made for my youngest son's wedding party.
My cooking tragedies
There's really no real tragedies. Just new turns to old recipes. Except for the over cooked ones.

Arkansas Green Beans
These were awesome. My daughter-in-law has never said anything, about what I have made, till now. I was surprised, when she told me they were really good. I have made them 3 times, in the last month. My hubby asks for them now. The last time, I added ham, instead of bacon. Still great.

Marshmallow Treats
I made mine using 1/2 plain and 1/2 chocolate krispies. Added milk choc. chips and peanuts. My version of Rocky Road treats. Even the people in my family that don't like krispie treats, love these.

Hash Brown Casserole for the Slow Cooker
I don't like onions cooked or raw, so instead of sour cream and onion, I use french onion dip. You get the creamy onion taste, without the the tears of chopped onion.
