Ranch Style Oyster Crackers
These are delicious! They always seem to show up at Gramma's around Christmas time! I do tend to add a touch more dill, my preference.

Lazy Man's Pierogi
This is an amazing dish...I do however make a few alterations. I use sea shell pasta vs. the rotini, and I cook the onion in a half stick of butter, then add the bacon. (I used turkey bacon and it tasted delicious). I also added the sauerkraut straight out of the jar, juices and adds so much more flavor to the dish! I added about 2 teaspoons of Worchershire sauce and omitted the mushrooms completely. I love mushrooms, but I don't feel they belong in this dish, the few that are in the soup are sufficient enough for me. Lastly I added an envelope of Lipton onion soup mix...really takes it over the top!! I found that because of the thickness of all the ingredients combined, I DID have to add a splash or two of milk to give it room to groove.

Chicken a la King I
This is a definite keeper! I did make just a few minor changes: Instead of chicken breasts, I used leftover chicken from a store bought rotisserie chicken that needed to be used up. I used fresh mushrooms in place of canned and I omitted the green pepper and pimentos completely as we are not huge fans of them. I added in about a cup of frozen pearl onions and a cup of a frozen vegetable mix (carrots, peas, corn and green beans) in about the last 5-7 minutes of cooking and also added about a teaspoon or so of a good italian herb blend. I served it over egg noodles and it was fantastic! I know it sounds like a lot of adjusting, but it was just a pinch here and a nudge there to suit our own personal taste buds....EXCELLENT and easy. From start to finish it took me 35 minutes!
