Favorite Corn Bread

An easy, basic recipe that's delicious. I used 1/4 of canola oil rather than shortening because that's what was on hand. Very tasty.

Spanish Chicken

I made this without olives and with chicken broth rather than water and bouillon cubes. It was easy to put together and very tasty. Definitely going into the regular dinner menu rotation!

This was delicious. I cut the amount of sugar to 1/2 cup based on other reader reviews and used Splenda to reduce calories. The chops were moist and tender and the cranberry sauce was really tasty. I served with brown rice and green beans with almonds. My daughter (usually not a big meat eater) asked for seconds.

Spiced Nuts II

Very easy and tasty recipe. It also makes the kitchen smell great! I didn't add raisins. A 20 minute baking time was enough to make them crispy in my oven.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

I thought these cookies lived up to the hype! They're delicious. I customized them by using 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup applesauce instead of shortening and margarine and then I added chocolate chips to half the batch and raisins to the other half. I'd say they're more cake-like than chewy and not as chunky as other oatmeal cookies I have made.

No Bake Cookies V

These cookies have a rich choclatey flavor and are just like the cookies I used to make back in high school. I only had creamy peanut butter around so I used that and they were still delicious. I'll use crunchy next time for the added texture. My husband went crazy and couldn't stop eating them (and he's not much of a cookie person).

Easy Sugar Cookies

Wow! These were great. I made them with my daughter and even though the dough looked really crumbly it rolled up into balls pretty easily and baked up beautifully. We'll definitely be making these again.
