About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
None...My family has never been traditional Anything. I am starting my own traditions like for example making bunuelos every Christmas. I'm starting small! :)
My cooking triumphs
I think my Chiles Rellenos are deliciosos! My BF and my picky 16 year old RAVE over them...Although I have not mastered the egg frying and it actually sticking but man they are delicious! Pozole is also GREAT!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make pollo con limon y chile fue un desastre! I am pretty good about rememberring ingridients on someones recepie but man I cannot measure

Chile Colorado
I thought the recepie was missing something when I checked out the ingredients so I read the reviews and found what I felt was missing, the Mexican spices. I added oregano, a bit of cumin and yes garlic, I took it a step further and added green bell pepper. I will be making this for sure my family LOVED IT!!!

Spoiled Baby Back Ribs
I loved the simplicity of it! Prep time was a breeze! I was skeptical about boiling the ribs but really glad I did I followed the receipe to the T. The sauce is finger lickin' delicious! I had never used the broiler, the only thing I did wrong was have the ribs too close to the broiler and the burned a few ribs good thing i made a lot because after my first trial I leared my lesson and the following where sooooo gooooood! family loved them! This is a real find and a keeper! Thank you!

Chile Rellenos
I made this but I added a few more things....takes longer to make but really good. I stuffed the peppers with cheese and seasoned ground turkey. I find the cheese ones are missing something...After I fried they I threw them in the oven and topped them with cheese..YUMMMM!!! I also made a tomato sauce....using some chicken stock, a whole onion cut up in small pieces some diced up garlic and a can of diced tomato let is simmer until all onion is really soft. take chiles out of the oven and top off with your sauce totally DELISH!!!
