Good Frickin' Paprika Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
This has made it into my family rotation. We used Greek yogurt and Sriracha sauce as the chili sauce. I also added some Garlic salt with parsley and upped the amount of fresh smashed garlic. It was so tender and delicious. Well worth the wait! Thank you, Chef John!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
I made this tonight for a pot luck and it was AMAAAAAZING. The only thing was the sugar kept solidifying on the bottom of the container it was in. Next time I'm going to use balsamic vinegar and dissolve the sugar first before adding the other ingredients. Everyone raved about it. I also toasted my almond and had my dressing on the side...as well as some feta. YUM!

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
Holy COW! So delicious. I used garlic salt instead of regular and didn't read the direction well so I added my Parmesan and Parsley when I stirred half way through....it was out of this world. I did sprinkle it with a tad more parmesan and garlic salt as soon as it came out of the over. The slightly crispy pieces I scrapped from the bottom of my dish were our favorite. =-)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I am a pretty avid baker...followed the instructions as written and my bread did not cook all the way through. It still tastes good...but isn't prefect. Anyone have any suggestions?

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
Holy cow. I have never made cornbread from scratch because the box stuff is just so easy and relatively edible. NEVER again. This was so easy and exceptional. My only 5 star rating I have ever given. I followed the recipe to a T with the exception of doing half brown and half white sugar. 30 minutes exactly!!! Perfect, moist, delicious!

Really good chili, simple to put together with ingredients already in the house. I personally like my everything but the kitchen sink kind of chili but this was REALLY delicious in a pinch!

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
I made this tonight and it was a BIG hit with the WHOLE family including my 2 year old. I did however make a few very small changes. I did not use salt, I did garlic salt with parsley, pepper, and new orleans cajun seasoning. I also dipped them in butter prior to seasoning them. I put them in the over in little individual foil packs at 415 for 15 minutes and they were PERFECT.

Pork Tenderloin Diane

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
I have made this about 3 times in about 6 months. Each time comes out better than the last. This time I used Spicy brown mustard, and threw the sauce mix in with the medallions to cook everything together once the meat was browned instead of removing them and pouring the sauce over it. (I had some pork tenderloin from last night so I didn't have to do the first 2 steps at all)I also added mushroom in the last 3 minutes of cooking. OMG delicious. The best yet!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
You know its a good recipe when I review it twice since I accidentally clicked cancel! This pleased me, who HATES salmon, my 1 year old, my 9 year old....AND THE HUBBY. They all went back for more. The baby kept saying "Fish fish MORE good!" I baked it at 450 for 13 minutes. I forgot to marinate so just poured the sauce over the seasoned fillets. I however did NOT add salt to taste as the soy sauce already offers more than enough. This is not a FISHY tasting recipe. It is AMAZING!
