Spicy Melted Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
I made this three time already (Thanksgiving, Christmas party, and again for my hubby). It was delicious and will be a main recipe in our household. I did use 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 Jimmy Dean Hearty Sausage Crumbles the first time (all sausage other times...prefer combo) and fried it up and combined everything in a crock pot lined with a slow cooker liner---it's a must!! No need to scrub the melted on cheese. Just throw away the bag. Delicious!!

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
I made this dish for an Easter brunch and got a lot of compliments on it. I didn't have any leftovers. I did use two more eggs and the full amount of sausage and hash browns. It was delicious. I will definately make this dish again.

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
I used the maple sausage and it was pretty good. I followed the recipe and it turned out thick and hearty. Next time I might double the flour and milk like suggested. It could probably be made with less sausage and still taste great if you want more of a biscuits and gravy and not so much sausage and biscuits...but the recipe is super sausage gravy I guess. Lol! I will keep this recipe around and make it again. It was really easy to make as well.

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I have been using this punch recipe for about 3 years now for baby showers, birthday parties, etc. It is the best punch recipe I have come across!! Everyone loves it and several people have asked me for the recipe. It is delicious!! I usually prep the punch the night before the party and divide it into two gallon ziplock freezer bags(double-bag it just in case it leaks) and freeze it. It will take hours to freeze. Let one bag sit out at room temperature an hour or so before the party so it has time to get a little slushy so it breaks up easily when the bottle of soda is poured over it. If you don't need the second ziplock bag of punch mix it, you will already have it ready for the next party.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I followed the recipe and mine turned out exactly as said...soft! I had a problem with them browning in the oven. I kept them in the max amount of time, but the still didn't start to brown around the edges, but still tasted pretty darn good anyway. I will probably make this recipe again and increase the salt by 1/2 tsp. like recommened by someone. They were quick and easy to make and baked nice and thick. Yummy!!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
I made a ton of these for my son's third birthday party and they were a huge hit with the adults. I was worried I was going to have leftovers because I made such a huge amount, but not one was left on the plate. I did take advice from some of the reviews such as: I wrapped them the night before the party and used toothpicks to keep them in place. I placed them in large ziplock bags and sprinkled the sugar over them and let the juices coagulate in the fridge. I baked mine in the oven using a drip pan. They will drip a lot of grease. I do recommend center cut bacon. They were delicious!! My friend already asked me for the recipe. I will definately make these again for another party.
